There are some paintings that you simply look at, and then there are paintings that you feel. Sangita Agarwal’s art belongs to the latter. Each of her works carries a quiet power — the kind that lingers in your heart long after you’ve seen it.

What draws me most to her paintings is the way she breathes life into mythology. Shiva, Krishna, Radha, Nandi, the ghats of Varanasi — they are all familiar to us, yet on Sangita’s canvas they appear fresh, radiant, and deeply personal. It feels as though she is not just painting gods and stories, but conversations with the divine itself.

Her colors are bold yet soothing, her figures stylized yet full of grace. There’s a beautiful balance between tradition and imagination in her work. Sometimes I find traces of Rajasthani detailing, other times a touch of contemporary spirit — but always, it is unmistakably hers.

Looking at her paintings, one feels a sense of stillness, devotion, and also wonder. They invite you to pause, reflect, and maybe even connect with something higher within yourself.

As someone who admires her art, I can say this: Sangita Agarwal’s paintings are not just to be seen, they are to be experienced. They carry the warmth of her soul and the timelessness of the myths she loves. And that, I believe, is what makes her art unforgettable.
