Return Policy

1. Introduction

This Return Policy (“Policy”) delineates the terms and conditions applicable to returns, replacements, cancellations, refunds, exchanges, and shipping of artworks purchased through the website located at www.Artbysangita.com (the “Website”), operated by Sangita Agarwal (the “Operator” or “we,” “us,” or “our”). By effecting a purchase on the Website, you (“Purchaser” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy may be amended from time to time, and your continued purchases constitute acceptance of any such amendments.

2. Eligibility for Returns and Replacements

To qualify for a return, the artwork must remain unused and in the identical condition as received. Replacements for framed or unframed prints shall be entertained solely in instances where the frame, glass, or print arrives damaged or defective. The artwork must be returned in its original packaging, accompanied by the invoice or bill.

You are obligated to notify us of any damage, quality discrepancies, or receipt of incorrect artwork within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery, furnishing photographic evidence depicting the issue for verification purposes.

We shall not be liable for replacements or refunds if notification is received subsequent to the expiration of forty-eight (48) hours from the delivery timestamp.

Certain items are categorically non-returnable, including but not limited to:

  • Gift cards;
  • Select health and personal care items.

To process a return, submission of a receipt or proof of purchase is mandatory.

Partial refunds may be granted in specific circumstances, including:

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or with missing components attributable to causes unrelated to our fault;
  • Items returned beyond seven (7) days post-delivery.

Refunds shall be applicable exclusively to original paintings.

For orders placed via Cash on Delivery (COD), any COD fees incurred during order placement shall not be refunded.

3. Cancellations

Artworks procured through the Website are customized pursuant to your specifications. The production process commences immediately upon order placement and payment confirmation. Accordingly, cancellations shall not be permissible subsequent to payment receipt and issuance of order confirmation.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, cancellations may be accommodated prior to the initiation of production, which typically occurs within two (2) hours of order placement. Should you desire to cancel, you must promptly contact us via telephone or written correspondence, whereupon we shall advise on the feasibility thereof.

For cancellations pertaining to split COD orders, any partial payment (e.g., ten percent (10%)) shall be non-refundable following the lapse of two (2) hours from order placement.

In the event cancellation is sought due to a preference for an alternative product available on the Website, our team may facilitate a replacement. Such requests must be communicated within twenty-four (24) hours of order placement.

4. Refunds

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned artwork, we shall dispatch an electronic notification confirming receipt and advise you of the approval or denial of your refund request.

Upon approval, the refund shall be processed and credited to your original payment method within 7 days from the date of refund approval. Please note:
  • Refunds are restricted to original artworks, provided they are returned in their original condition;
  • Customized framed artworks or framed prints are ineligible for refunds and qualify solely for replacements;
  • For decorative art plates, only replacements shall be offered, with no refunds available, as such items are produced in limited quantities and are non-returnable. Replacements shall be provided without impediment in cases of damage or incorrect product receipt.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

Should a refund not be reflected in your account, kindly verify your bank statement initially. Subsequently, consult your credit card issuer, as processing delays may occur prior to official posting.

If unresolved, contact your banking institution, noting that additional processing time may be required.

6. Sale Items

Refunds shall be extended solely to items purchased at regular prices. Items acquired during sales or promotions are regrettably ineligible for refunds.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges shall be limited to replacements of frames, glass, or prints that are defective or damaged. To initiate an exchange for an identical item, submit a request via email to sangitakhowala9@gmail.com.

8. Shipping for Returns

To affect a return, dispatch the artwork to address as below:

You shall bear responsibility for all shipping expenses associated with returns. Such costs are non-refundable. In instances where a refund is issued, return shipping fees shall be deducted therefrom.

Delivery timelines for exchanged items may fluctuate based on your geographic location.

For returns valued in excess of Rs.100 (Rupees one hundred only), utilization of a traceable shipping service or procurement of shipping insurance is recommended. We disclaim any guarantee regarding receipt of returned items.

10. Governing Law
