1. Introduction
This Certificate of Authenticity Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms under which certificates of authenticity are provided in connection with the purchase of original paintings through the website www.Artbysangita.com operated by Sangita Agarwal (the “Operator” or “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing any painting, you (“Purchaser” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy may be revised from time to time, and your continued purchases constitute acceptance of any such revisions.
2. Provision of Certificate
Upon the purchase of any painting, we shall furnish a Certificate of Authenticity to validate the legitimacy of your acquisition. Each painting exhibited on the website or in associated galleries shall be accompanied by an authenticity certificate personally signed by the Artist, Sangita Agarwal.
3. Scope of Coverage
This Policy extends to all paintings displayed on the website or in galleries, as well as to commissioned works. The Certificate of Authenticity serves as verification of the artwork’s origin and genuineness.
4. Inclusion with Shipment
During the shipment process, the purchased painting shall be dispatched concurrently with its corresponding Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring simultaneous delivery to your designated address.
5. Copyright Retention
Notwithstanding the transfer of physical ownership of the painting to you, all copyright and intellectual property rights in the artwork shall remain exclusively with the Artist, Sangita Agarwal. No rights to reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit the artwork are conveyed to you unless expressly agreed upon in writing.
